Cricket Leinster's premier T20 competition, the Alan Murray Cup sees a radical overhaul for the 2017 season.
The compeition will be played mainly on Saturday's during the middle of the summer, with all clubs playing six matches across three weekends, to determine the top eight clubs who will play in the quarter finals.
With fifteen clubs only playing six matches each, a draw has been made to determine the opponents for each club. and the draw is best analysed below.
Three wins should be enough for a team to qualify for the quarter finals, and as there is an open draw for the knock out stages, the competition will be wide open all the way to the final. Largely clubs will face three Division 1 teams, and three Division 2 teams, although there are a couple of glaring exceptions, with Pembroke being drawn five Division 2 teams, and Rush having to play five Divison 1 teams.
Quarter finals will be held on Wednesday 12 July, with Finals Day on Saturday 22 July in Pembroke CC.
