Player Registration for the 2017 Cricket Leinster Open Competitions and Women's Competitions is now open!
Today sees the launch of the fourth year of Cricket Leinster’s direct player registration system, which continues to bring massive benefits to the running of cricket in teh province. There are no changes to the system for 2017, with full details of the process available here.
We have out together a complete and comprehensive guide, which shows you exactly how to complete the registration process, as well as helping you how to upload a photo (see below)
As in 2016, ALL players born BEFORE January 1st 1999 who wish to play in the Open Competitions, must upload a photo to their profile. There were some issues in 2016 and the process to upload photos will be upgraded over the coming weeks. However, it remains the case that all those who wish to play in Open Competitions, must have uploaded a photo. Please note that if you have previously uploaded a photo, there is no need to upload again - your work is done.
As in 2016, players who were born on or after January 1st 1999, cannot register directly, and must be registered by their club’s Cricket Leinster administrator. If you do not know who to contact in your club, please contact admin@cricketleinster.ie
Clubs will have to collect the relevant information (including parental permissions) from all youth players who are registering.
A few clubs also register their players directly, and you may want to check with your club to see if they are registering players in this way.
The payment structure for 2017 remains the same. All adults (born before January 1st 1999) will pay a €15 registration fee. All those who register as youths (born on or after January 1st 1999) continue to be free.
