2,200 PLAYERS NOW REGISTERED (AS AT 29.1.2024)

As we approach the end of January, we can now update that there are over 2,200 players already registered in advance of the 2024 season.

The top 30 clubs in terms of players registered to-date is listed below with Adamstown CC steaming ahead at 164 players (up 34 in January). It is great to see the ongoing growth at many of our newer clubs with Castleknock, Tyrrelstown, Swords, Sandyford, Lucan and Ongar all featuring in the top 20.

There are already 44 players registered for Ongar CC as it enters its second season in CL competitions whilst County Cavan already has 35 players on-board for its debut season within the CL competition structure.

There are already over 850 youth players registered across the province with the top 15 clubs in terms of youth registrations to-date as follows:

And remember that all registered players are automatically included in the CL Personal Accident Insurance scheme which is an important safeguard in the event of an accident or injury whilst playing cricket for your club.
