CricClubs is Cricket Leinster's live scoring partner. Not all Cricket Leinster matches are live scored, but the aim is to have as many Open and Women's matches as possible live scored. If you need help on being an admin in Cricclubs, click here
As a captain, you are responsible for the behaviour of your team. You can find all sorts of information on Cricket Leinster's disciplinary procedures here
The Leinster Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association uses software called "Who's the Umpire" to collect the mandatory reports you must fill out if your match has official umpires. A guide on how to sign up for "Who's the Umpire" can be found here
And all this is for things that happen off the pitch! There is also so much that happens on the pitch.
Every single competition played under Cricket Leinster's jurisdiction has a set of Playing Conditions. These can be found on the website here. Regulations for the 2022 season will be published shortly.
The Playing Conditions above are based on the Laws of Cricket, and you should be familiar with these. You can find the Laws of Cricket on the MCC's website here
And what do you do when you are actually in the game? What will the umpires ask me? What happens if there are no umpires? Lots of similar questions are answered here
Cricket Ireland has strict rules to protect the welfare of youth players during a game, such as the wearing of helmets, and limits on how many overs fast bowlers can use. This is important, and can be viewed on Cricket Ireland's site here
