A guide to..... being a club admin on CricClubs

Cricket Leinster has been using CricClubs as its live scoring solution since 2019, and will be continuing to expand its use during 2021.

Integration between CricClubs, our stats partner Cricket Statz and our own website at cricketleinster.ie means that scores can be viewed across multiple platforms as the game is in progress, with scorecards automatically uploaded to cricketleinster.ie and cricketstatz.com at the end of the match.

There is plenty of work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure that followers of all our clubs can see the latest scores, and much of that work is done by the brilliant team of scorers around the province. Cricket Leinster's team sheet system has made the task of entering teams into scorecards much easier, but there is plenty that club admins can do to make life much easier for scorers.

1. To start, log in to CricClubs. For Women's matches, go to cricclubs.com/cricketleinsterwomen and for Open Competitions matches, go to cricclubs.com/cricketleinster
2. ALL clubs have their own admin login. Use clubname@cricketleinster.ie (eg northcounty@cricketleinster.ie or dlrcounty@cricketleinster.ie). If you don't have the password, use the password reset option, which will then be automatically sent to all the members of your club who are registered as admins on the Cricket Leinster site.
3. Click on "Clubs" and then "View Clubs"

4. You will see a list of all competitions your teams have been entered in since 2019. 2021 teams and competitions will be added as soon as Cricket Leinster get the go ahead from Sport Ireland and Cricket Ireland.

5. Click on the team name, and then on the Update Team button

6. You should then update as much as the information as possible, and entering this information makes the life of your teams scorer much easier. Please don't change the team name (as this is linked to the Cricket Leinster website and changing it will prevent your scorecards being submitted), but you can update the captain, vice captain and wicketkeeper .Crucially, the player list should contain all the players who are playing on the team. If a player is not listed here, they can not be entered on a scorecard. This should be done for all competitions your team plays in, and should be kept updated throughout the season.
