Alan Murray Cup Finals Day - 11 August 2019

Cricket Leinster is pleased to advise that Pembroke Cricket Club will be hosting the Senior Men's T20 Finals Day for the Alan Murray Cup again this year.

We want to thank Pembroke CC for providing their fabulous ground and facilities to host this important event in the annual Cricket Leinster calendar. As everyone will know, Pembroke also hosted our Centenary Summer Smash event in June which attracted in excess of 1,600 people - undoubtedly the biggest audience yet for a Leinster Lightning fixture.

The Men’s Senior T/20 Finals Day is one of the flagship occasions of our season (with two Semi-Finals and the Final itself all scheduled as part of a one-day festival).

Cricket Leinster also wants to acknowledge the ongoing support of our competition sponsors, LHK Insurance Brokers, who partner with us as part of our annual Insurance Programme for clubs and who have provided the funding which enables us to ‘live-stream’ all three matches on Finals Day to a global digital audience. We will be delighted to welcome Keith Young from LHK on the day - Keith looks after all Cricket Leinster insurance matters and will present the Alan Murray Cup at the conclusion of proceedings. 
Club cricket is the life-blood of our sport and our commitment at Cricket Leinster is always to put Club Cricket at the heart of everything we do.

Increased revenues, in particular from sponsor and commercial support is enabling us to provide ongoing improvements to the services we can provide to our clubs and their members and this will continue over the weeks and months ahead.

Finally and most importantly, I would like to encourage each and every club player, member and supporter to join us on the day for what will undoubtedly be another great day in Pembroke as four of our top clubs compete to be ‘Alan Murray Cup Champions’ for 2019.
