Cricket Leinster is delighted to announce that Anne O’Meara has been appointed as our new Cricket Development Officer for the Meath region.
As a qualified coach, Anne comes to this exciting new role with a wealth of relevant experience having already worked for many years in the area of youth cricket at both Club level and in local schools.
This new role is part of our commitment to expand our development skills and capacity throughout the province and is being jointly funded by Meath Local Sports Partnership and Cricket Leinster.
As Cricket Development Officer for Meath, Anne will be engaging with local schools especially those in proximity to our two Meath-based cricket clubs, Knockharley CC and Ashbourne CC, to assist in growing youth participation in cricket. The programme also has specific commitments to schools in the Navan area.
We are delighted to have Anne on-board in this important role as part of our planned growth and development strategy.
