ARTIFICIAL PITCH MAINTENANCE - GUIDANCE

We would like to thank Roland Bradley (ex CL President and stalwart of Laois CC) for putting together this very useful guide to the maintenance of artificial pitches. Almost every cricket ground in the province has an artificial pitch and in many cases, it is the only playing surface available.

This guidance note provides some practical insights into how best to maintain your artificial pitch from both a performance and lifespan perspective. 

We will be sharing this with our Local Authority partners and we suggest that all clubs leverage this guidance as part of their annual maintenance programme.

Thanks again to Roland for his work on this and for the brilliant work he has done to establish Laois CC at The Abbey in Stradbally. Roland continues to work tirelessly on ground maintenance alongside other members of the club especially Jack and Eddie.
