LEINSTER 2 BEAT NW BY 18 RUNS
Molly Butterly was the star with the ball as Leinster 2s beat the North West by 18 runs in the U17 interprovincial match at Balbriggan.
Butterly took a hat-trick in figures of 4-20 as NW collapsed from 89-4 to 95 All Out.
There were also two wickets apiece also for Erin Knight and Hayley Moore.
Best of the Leinster 2 team with the bat was Clontarf’s Genevieve Morrissey with 23.

LEINSTER 1 BEAT NCU BY 2 RUNS
Julie McNally scored a brilliant hundred to lead Leinster Firsts to a narrow 2-run win over the NCU in an exciting match at Kenure.
The Clontarf batter hit 22 boundaries in her 89-ball 121, sharing a second wicket stand of 102 with Izzy McLean (33).
Lucy Barry also chipped in with 23 in a total of 247.
The chase went right down to the last ball with the NCU just failing to get the boundary that would have tied the match.
Leinster 1s won by 2 runs keeping them top of the table in the overall tournament.
