IRISH CRICKETER Kevin O'brien is coming to Carlow to visit the Carlow Cricket Club on Saturday. Kevin famously scored the fastest century in World Cup history (133 form 63 balls) in 2011 when Ireland created an upset by beating England.
Kevin will be in the Fairgreen Shopping centre from 11am to 12.30pm to promote the Carlow Cricket Club and sign autographs. Everyone is welcome.
Following on from the Fairgreen Shopping Centre Kevin will deliver two training sessions up on the grounds of the Carlow Rugby Club.
The first session is from 1pm-4pm with the 6-15 year old age group and then from 4pm-7pm with the 16 to adult age group. The cost is €30 per person.
If you are interested in taking part in the training, please contact Sandra Corrigan on 0599136205 to book your place. Please book early to avoid disappointment, as there are only 15 places per session.
This is Carlow Cricket Club's second season and organisers hope that it will be a great season for all involved. The club will be running two groups again this year a junior and a senior group.
