A Coaching Children’s course is currently running at King’s Hospital school with 11 Leinster coaches attending.
The course itself is concentrating on the Cricket Ireland player-centred coaching approach, which focuses upon providing the right environment to coach young cricketers. The coaches will look at using different types of practices including small-sided games that can be easily delivered to children within schools or sports halls.
It is hoped more of these courses can be run at venues throughout Leinster in the coming months.
