CL DISCIPLINARY REGULATIONS UPDATE

The Board of Cricket Leinster has approved changes to the Cricket Leinster Disciplinary Regulations which have also recently been adopted by Cricket Ireland.

The changes, which are effective immediately, are:

1. A provision that a time ban for a Level 3 or 4 offence in Cricket Leinster also applies to Cricket Ireland and other Provincial Union competitions (paragraph 1.4)
2. An addition to the Level 1 offences to ensure that a captain takes
   responsibility for the behaviour of their team (Item 1.9 of Level 1 offences)
3. Three additions covering negative or critical commentary by club
   representatives on social media. (Addition of “officials” in 2.9.1, a new 2.9.4 and an additional sentence in 4.2)
