CL LAUNCHES AUTUMN / WINTER CLUB SEMINAR SERIES (Q4 2023)

Cricket Leinster is running a series of on-line information seminars for clubs over the autumn/winter period on key topics as follows:

1) CL CLUB WORKSHOP - ESTABLISHING A FEMALE CRICKET PROGRAMME - WEDNESDAY 25TH OCTOBER 2023 (7.00PM)

This webinar is intended for all CL clubs which may be considering establishing a female cricket programme (girls, women or both) in 2024:

The session will be moderated by Isobel Joyce (CL Women's & Girls Development Officer) and will include:

- a practical guide on how best to get started including case study examples
- a briefing on the various supports available to clubs
- how CL can help in making your female programme(s) a success
- an overview of existing CL competitions for women & girls
- an overview of the various participation programmes for women & girls

This webinar will enable participants to understand how to go about making this important next step in growing their club and further embracing gender inclusivity.

2) CL FUNDRAISING STRATEGY & INITIATIVES FOR CLUBS - THURSDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2023 (7.00PM)

This on-line seminar will address key topics including:

- How to formulate a robust, multi-year club fundraising strategy
- Delivering quick wins to benefit club cash-flow
- Identifying and mobilising longer-term fundraising projects
- Optimising sponsorship & patronage

This seminar will be delivered via an external agency with experience in amateur sports fundraising.

3) CL INSURANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT SEMINAR FOR CLUBS - THURSDAY 7TH DECEMBER (7.00PM)

This on-line seminar will address key topics including:

- What your club Insurance Programme should cover
- Insuring volunteers and garda vetting
- Risk Management issues including safety statements and security of machinery
- Directors & Officers including Employment Practices Liability
- Cyber Insurance including implications from GDPR
- Third Parties using club premise - insurance implications (which ties into Risk Management)
- Claims management and responsibilities at club level
