Following on from the successful Club Development Information Seminar held in the Aviva Stadium in 2010 the Dublin, Wicklow & Kildare Local Sports Partnership's are calling all sports clubs in the region to sign up for the 2011 Club Development Information Seminar at Croke Park on Saturday 27th August 2011 starting at 10am.
The 2010 Seminar was attended by representatives from a variety of sports from Frisbee to Sailing, Gaelic Football to Special Olympics and many, many more. In fact over 200 club delegates from 31 different sports attended the event. The success of the inaugural event has seen the Club Development Information Seminar been organised for a second year running to assist and support clubs and their administrators, volunteers and coaches in the Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare region.
Minister Jimmy Dennihan TD and Pat Gilroy, the Dublin Senior football manager will be a guest speakers on the day as will John Treacy, Chief Executive of the Irish Sports Council. The day itself will consist of a series of presentations on a range of topics important to all involved in sport. These include; strategic planning, social media, finance management, club discipline rules, volunteer recruitment and more. Delegates should typically be sports clubs members including administrators, committee members, coaches and volunteers who are involved in the running or governance of sports clubs.

The variety and level of expertise on offer will be of great benefit to clubs and this seminar looks to be even stronger than in 2010.
