Cricket Leinster are pleased to announce the advertisement of a 30 hour a week internship in the field of Cricket coaching & development.
The position has become available as part of the 'Jobbridge scheme' which is part of the National Government Jobs Iniaitive.
Applicants must currently be in receipt of social welfare for a period of three of the last six months. The role will commence in early February.

The intern will gain practical experience in the field of coaching, development in the sport of Cricket. The intern will receive training from Cricket Ireland qualified tutors & coaches on how to deliver sessions within development scenarios in schools, clubs & within the community. Upon completion the intern will have attained skills and knowledge throughout the field of sports coaching and development. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with Cricket Ireland coaches and the ‘hands on’ side of the internship will offer the chance for the candidate to develop their coaching and presentation skills Being one of the fastest growing sports in the country there are several opportunities presenting themselves within the game and this internship will give anybody interested in having a role within cricket a great head start and also help get them more practical experience.

Ideally the candidate will be based in and around Dublin. This internship is an ideal opportunity for anybody who has an interest in Cricket and would be looking to advance their experience, knowledge and skills within one of Ireland’s fastest growing sports.

Up to date & valid Garda Vetting is required to perform this role. A coaching qualification would be desirable but not essential. Any sporting qualifications of any kind would be beneficial.
