AGM
At the Cricket Leinster AGM, there were a number of key developments:
The audited accounts for 2020 were approved confirming prudent financial management during a very challenging year.
Jim Bennett (The Hills CC) was confirmed as President for 2022 and will oversee a major archive project as part of his term of office.
Jim succeeds Stella Downes (Clontarf CC) who has completed a very successful term of office as President - Stella’s contribution has been immense and was warmly acknowledged by all who attended the meeting.
Pat Banahan (Leinster CC) was elected to the position of President Elect and will become President of Cricket Leinster for 2023. As a former Honorary Treasurer of CL, Pat is very familiar with all aspects of CL. He is also hugely liked and respected throughout the club cricket community in particular for his advocacy of women’s cricket and youth cricket.
There were a number of Directors re-elected to the Board to serve for another term as follows:
Meena Baskasubramanian was confirmed as an Independent Director for a second term.
