A day late again, this time we have an article by Derek Scott to celebrate the vist of Australia to Ireland in 1961. It was a era when test teams played festival matches and the crowd were there simply to see their cricketing heroes pulverise the locals. One of my earliest cricketing memories is the six hit by Davidson onto the Trinity roof [that is how I remember it] which is referred to in the article by Derek Scott.
