CRICKET LEINSTER BOYS U15 WITH OVERWHELMING VICTORY IN INTERPRO TOURNAMENT

The Under 15 Boys followed their compatriots at U17 and Girls levels with a clean sweep of the U15 Interpro tournament.

In today's final against the NCU Leinster batted first and thanks to a superb century from Robert O'Brien set and imposing 317 in 50 overs. Bruce Whaley gave good support with 73.

In reply the NCU opened well but once the opening partnership was broken the bowling was just too good. Johan George (3-55) and Paras Komati (3-18) were the pick of the bowlers, Bruce Whaley showed his all round talents with 2-47.

The NCU couldn't get any momentum and were dismissed for 237, 80 runs short with 5 unused overs.
