The morning session includes:
- Update from our new General Manager, Philip Smith
- Child Protection session with Jim Bennett
- Key Plans/Ideas for Youth Cricket in 2018 including panel discussion with Derek Dockrell, Deryck Vincent and Sean McCann
- Profile piece on Youth Cricket at Rush CC with Sean McCann
- Building a partnership with the Clubs from Albert van der Merwe, Leinster Lightning Head Coach
- Key recommendations for D1/2 Cricket in 2018 including panel discussion with Dom Joyce, Joe Morrissey and Barry Tucker
- Key areas of focus for D3-16 Cricket in 2018 including panel discussion with Howard Askew, Abul Shapon and Michael Dick
- Profile piece on developing a Cricket Club in a public park with Abul Shapon from Clondalkin CC.
The afternoon session includes:
- Engaging 50% of the Population - short talk from Nora Stapleton, Irish Rugby International and Women's Development Manager
- Key recommendations for Women's Cricket in 2018 including panel discussion with Cathy Murphy, Fiona Manning and Rob O'Connor.
- Rob O'Connor will also do a short profile piece on building a thriving Women's Cricket Programme based on his expertise and the Leinster CC experience
- Briefing on the new laws and key priorities for the LCU&SA with Kevin Gallagher and a short Quiz to test your 'umpiring' knowledge with Peter Thew.
- Our President, Derek Dockrell will outline his thoughts and priorities in respect of behaviour and the 'spirit of cricket' which will be a major focus in 2018.
- We'll close the day with a look at the key priorities for 2018 and how Cricket Leinster will be supporting the Clubs - with Eddie Lewis and Philip Smith.
