Of the five un-starred players only three shall be permitted to play in any league match for a lower team, if that lower team is playing in the division immediately below the team they are registered on.
Only two of the un-starred players shall be permitted to play in any league match for a lower team, if that lower team is playing in a league two divisions below the team they are registered on where the club do not have a team in the league immediately below.
Clubs are required to submit revised starrings lists, even if there are no changes, by email to womens@cricketleinster.ie by the 20th day of each month, to become effective as and from the 1st day of the following month. This list is subject to ratification by the Women’s Committee. Late Starrings submission would result in a 5 point penalty being applied to each team from the club.
4 UPLOADING SCORES/OCC/ FIXTURES
The LCU&SA will issue a full guidance for scorers. In order to do this they wish to collate a database of scorer contacts. Please send your scorers’ email(s), or if you rotate the scorer then either the captain or a delegate that can pass the information on to the scorers, to Naomi at nscotthayward@gmail.com. Naomi is the Scorers’ Representative for the LCU&SA.
This year, as the OCC have agreed to monitor and manage these incoming results, there will be an enforcement of the same rules as applied in the Open Competitions. If the score is not submitted within 72 hours of the game ending, there will be a deduction of 5 points. As in the Open competitions, this can be challenged through the Women’s Committee if the club believe there to be extenuating circumstances.
All fixture changes due to weather must be agreed and confirmed with the Women’s Committee within three days of the original fixture. No other fixture can be changed without the permission of the women’s committee for any reason. There will be no exceptions to this, and a 5 point penalty with be deducted.
