DELIGHT FOR DELOITTE (23.7)

Deloitte Ireland has won the CL Hundred Ball Business League for the second-year running defeating Microsoft Ireland in a pulsating Final at Park Avenue this evening.

Having won the inaugural CL HBBL in 2023, Deloitte progressed to the Final this year whilst remaining unbeaten throughout the group stage and showed their all-round skill with both bat and ball as they successfully defended 182 in front of an enthusiastic crowd of supporters from both companies.

Our thanks to Railway Union for hosting the Final and to the two official umpires, Shankar Gopalakrishnan and Gaurav Pothapalayam Natarajan who did an excellent job in ensuring a competitive Final played in good spirits.

In the after-match presentation ceremony, the CL President (Siobhan McBennett) thanked all company teams for their participation in this year's HBBL and outlined CL's ambition to further grow and develop social formats of the game akin to the HBBL.

At the conclusion of the medals ceremony, the President presented the CL HBBL Trophy to the Deloitte team as Champions for 2024.
