The draw for the second round of the Irish Senior and National Cups has taken place. Overseen by Simon Dyke, Cricket Ireland Operations Manager, and Elaine Nolan, Participation Director, the draws have thrown up some intriguing ties.
With ten Ulster sides in the last 16 draw, there was great interest in the NCU and NWCU. The minimum of two all Ulster ties resulted and only one side, Muckamore, have to travel to the LCU to play Merrion in the second round.
Three LCU teams will travel to play NCU teams including Senior Cup debutants Balbriggan who meet Lisburn. While The Hills and Pembroke travel to the North West to take on Donemana and Bready respectively.
