Firstly congratulations must go to Castleknock 3’s on winning this league. Losing only one game out of fourteen and with one no result is a fine season by any standards.
On an individual level however, it is a player from third placed Mullingar who wins the league’s MVP award. T. Mount played in all 11 of Mullingar’s actual games, although they did receive 3 walkovers also. He was 87th in the overall list, but in just Division 14 games his total of 915 points saw him lead by 106 points.
The top ten point scorers were:
261 players appeared in Division 14, with 80 making but one appearance. Leading the appearances with the maximum possible 14 games were two players, W. Barr [Castleknock] and J. Kelly [Clontarf].
Colm Reilly [Balbriggan] was the only player to pass 400 runs. He went on to score 510 and lead the run scorers by 141 runs. The top five run scorers were:

J. Quinlan’s one knock of 168 ensures he tops the batting average, although he did only play once. The top 5 batting averages (with no qualifications, but innings shown in brackets) were:

T. Mount [Mullingar] was the leading wicket taker with 28, a full 11 ahead of the field. The top 5 wicket takers were:
P. Donoghue’s devastating spell of three balls two wickets sees him top the bowling averages. The top five (and ties) averages were:
Six players took five wicket hauls once and therefore also have the best bowling analyses:
T. Mount was also the most worked bowler, sending down 73.4 overs. The top five were:
97 players held at least one catch this season in Division 14. Two players held 6 apiece and so can claim to be the safest hands, although no record is kept of dropped catches.
There were only four stumpings all season and A. Gilbride took two of them.
N. Carré [Greystones] played in 9 games, batted twice and did not score a run. W. Barr [Castleknock] and M. Sisley [Wicklow County] both bowled 20 overs without taking a wicket. S. Haider [Castleknock] played the most games – 12 - without taking a catch. Player Unregistered played three times for Balbriggan, Adamstown and Merrion, scoring a total of 27 runs and taking 1 wicket.
In terms of players used (including Player Unregistered), the league looks like this:
Halverstown played only one game and withdrew from the league.
