The month of May means Primary Schools cricket season and there has been lots of activities taking place of late in the Fingal area.
Following the rolling out of many schoolyard coaching visits during February and March, schools have been participating in Cricket Leinster’s Leprechaun Cup, a hardball competition now played by up to 40 schools throughout Dublin and beyond.
The results of participating Fingal schools over the past fortnight are as follows:

Several other Fingal schools have been participating in Cricket Leinster’s ‘Super League’ competition (Milverton NS, Balrothery NS & Oliver Plunkett’s) while plans are in place to hold a girl’s schools blitz at Malahide CC towards the end of May.
