OCD11:Ashbourne
OCD14:AIB
OCD15:Tyrrelstown
This weekend will determine the outcome of some more.
Despite a couple of recent losses, Leinster II are still in charge of D3. They have three matches to play and a seven percentage point lead over Pembroke II. This weekend they take on third placed The Hills II in Rathmines. A win today and they should just about have it in the bag.
Big game in D4 where Merrion III host North County II in a top of the table clash. The pressure is on NC to secure the win and make some inroads into the 15 percentage point gap between the two sides. If NC win the league won’t be decided today.
League leaders Clontarf III in action today with a home tie v Balbriggan II. This is a nine team league and there are still matches to play. A win today for Clontarf [and regardless of what the chasing teams do] and they will have one hand on the trophy.
Castleknock are in poll position in D6 but their two remaining matches take place over the next two weekends. Rush II must win today to keep up pressure on the leaders.
Bagenalstown have two fixtures left in D7 and todays game is against Wexford who are lying second. A win today will put Bagenalstown in a very strong position - but North Kildare II are coming up on the rails and still have three games to play. This league may not be decided today.
Still plenty of games in D10. Greystones II have a comfortable lead and a win today v Adamstown III should just about seal it. Dundalk take on Castleknock II and to have any chance they need to win.
Two games for Balbriggan III to take D12 title. They are up against Sandyford tomorrow.
In D13 Halverstown and Bagenalstown II are confirmed in the top two. It looks like Halverstown have the title sown up but it may depend on decisions on re-fixtures for official confirmation.
The top two teams go head to head in D16 in a match that should determine who will win the league. There are a couple of other possible permutations but it really comes down to Bagenalstown III [the leaders] v Leinster VI in McGrath Park today.
