FIRST GIRLS SOFT BALL BLITZ OF 2023

Last Sunday saw 2023's first of three Cricket Leinster Girls Softball blitzes take place with participants from 14 different clubs in attendance. The day was all about having fun, playing with their peers and learning game awareness. The coaches also shared ‘skills’ tips with the players during the event.

Thank you to Ringcommons CC for use of the pitch and to members of our older Leinster Youth training squads for providing coaching support - Jenny Wilson, Isabella Merriman and Chloe Ericson. Great to have some female role models for the girls.

The winning team "The Smarties", with players from Phoenix, North Kildare and Pembroke, will hold bragging rights until our next Blitz on Sunday 18th June at North County CC.
