GIRLS U13 SQUAD FACE OFF AGAINST NORTH WEST

Today was a historic day for this U13 Girls Leinster squad. For the first time in the history of Irish cricket we will have a match between the North West Cricket Union and Leinster for this age group. We were delighted to be travelling today to Foxlodge CC for what will hopefully be the first year of many of these matches taking place.

The below team was selected for the match.

For many it was the first time that they represented their province for cricket.

Match summary:

A 58run partnership between De Klerk & Beatty saved us after a few quick wickets at the beginning. M. Bhavson from the North West team took 5 wickets for just 1 run off 4 overs.
