GRAND PRIZE DRAW RAISES €40,000 FOR CLUB CRICKET

The 2021 Your Club/Your Province Draw closed on New Year's Eve (Friday 31.12.2021).

We are delighted to advise that just over €40,000 was raised via ticket sales & donations.

The Draw was also open to clubs in Munster for the first time and as a result, over 40 clubs benefited from the Draw across both provinces.

From a Cricket Leinster perspective, the top 20 clubs in terms of ticket sales were as follows:

As you can see, congratulations are due to North County CC which raised a total of €3,780 from the Draw closely followed by Terenure CC which accumulated €3,360 in ticket sales.

As committed, the actual Draw will also include people who have registered for the 2022 season up to 31.12.2021 so when all data is fully collated, the Draw will take place during next week with the winners announced shortly thereafter via the CL website.

This is an excellent outcome especially when seen alongside the many brilliant fundraising events which were held by individual clubs throughout the year.

All balancing funds will be distributed to clubs within the next 2/3 weeks.
