Overall
We are delighted to report that there are now over 5,000players registered across the province – adult numbers are up on the prior year whilst youth numbers are currently running at circa 90% of the 2021 level.
We believe this primarily reflects some slippage in adherence to the registration process – all parents, players and club officers are reminded to ensure that all participants are registered in line with our regulations and to ensure all players are protected by our Personal Accident Insurance policy.
At an overall level, the top 10 in terms of registered players are as follows:
# | CLUB | REGISTERED PLAYERS |
1 | Merrion | 342 |
2 | Pembroke | 277 |
3 | Leinster | 247 |
4 | Adamstown | 231 |
5 | Phoenix | 220 |
6 | Malahide | 205 |
7 | North Kildare | 187 |
8 | Clontarf | 176 |
9 | The Hills | 175 |
