GREAT WORK IN WEXFORD CONTINUES - 24.11.2022

Herbie Honohan continues to lead our development work in Wexford and the South East region.

It has been another great year with continued growth in participation - including seven schools welcoming cricket for the first time:

- Monageer
- Marshallstown
- Rathnure
- Fethard
- Our Lady's Island
- Crossabeg
- Ballymurn

In aggregate, almost 3,000 primary school children participated in our cricket development programme which was also extended to almost 300 secondary school pupils (in five schools across the region).

We also provided Table Cricket demonstrations & sessions at Craanford and Ballycanew ASD Units with table cricket sets left for use by the units on an ongoing basis.

It was also pleasing to be in a position to provide two sessions to the Wexford School Completion Programme with cricket also on-hand for the July Provision Programme.
