Greystones Look for Coach
Greystones Cricket Club is seeking applications for the position of a Cricket Coach for the 2017 season.
The main roles & functions will include the following:
- Establishing and manage a Club training schedule for the 2017 season. (3 - men, 1 - ladies, 1 - u13)
- Assist captains in producing pre season training plans and review on an on-going basis.
- Assist the Club Development Officer in identifying & managing club development and talent management.
- Oversee and manage the u13 team including training and matches home and away, including section & reports.
- Produce an end of season report that would include a review of the season and recommendations for the following year.
General Terms and conditions
- The work will largely be conducted evenings Monday – Friday 7:00pm to 9.00pm along with matches on weekends. Meetings with Club officials, record keeping and report preparation will be required to occur outside these hours. (Average 12 hours / week)
- This is a paid position dependant on experience and qualifications
- Must have own transport.
- Min Level 2 coaching qualification
- Applicants should have a current Garda Vetting letter for working with Minors, a valid Child Protection/Code of Ethics course attendance certificate and a valid First Aid Certificate and be fully familiar with the clubs Child Protection Policy.
- Must have the ability to access the clubs online management system and to be able to effectively communicate with the club.
- The final list of duties will be agreed with the successful candidate.
