The 2019 season started quietly last week, with Clontarf hosting the first two matches of the season.
With the launch of Cricket Leinster's Match Centre imminent, and with five clubs hosting matches this coming weekend, here is a short guide to help all clubs set up a match on the new CricClubs scoring app.
To gain access to CricClubs, all scorers must be registered with Cricket Leinster. If you have not yet registered to be a scorer (but have already registered on the Cricket Leinster site), log in to https://www.cricketleinster.ie/login , press the three dot menu icon and apply for a new role (Scorer).
If you have not registered at all on the Cricket Leinster site, go to https://www.cricketleinster.ie/register and register to become a scorer.
Within 48 hours you will receive your login details for CricClubs. Contact admin@cricketleinster.ie if you do not receive this.
Download the CricClubs app from Google or Apple stores. If you are scoring on a laptop, PC, Mac etc, you can go to http://mobileapp.cricclubs.com. The screen grabs below are taken from the laptop version, but all versions look very similar.
Ahead of scoring the match, you need to set up the game. This is a two minute task that could be done in the days leading up to a match, or on the day of the match itself. You need to have an idea of the players who are playing, so this is easier one the teams have entered their teams on the Cricket Leinster website.
17. If you have any problems, there is a vibrant Cricket Leinster scorers WhatsApp group, or you can contact Cricket Leinster through social media or admin@cricketleinster.ie
