Our Division 13 review of the season earlier (have a look here if you haven't yet read it) alluded to how Shamil Koottembeth scored a hundred and took five wickets for Malahide 5 in the same match this year.
For those of you who are interested, there have been ten instances of this happening in Cricket Leinster Open Competitions since detailed records began in 2011. And remarkably on the same day (August 12) that Shamil Koottembeth was completing the feat for Malahide, Timcy Khanduja was doing the same thing for Merrion 4 against Longford 1 in Newtownforbes.
