The CL Hundred Ball Business League (HBBL) begins its 2024 tournament next week with no less than 8 fixtures taking place over the first two weeks.
In all, there are 10 company teams participating in this year's competition which takes place over a six-week mid-summer period culminating in the Grand Final which is scheduled for Tuesday 23rd July at 6pm in Park Avenue.
Our thanks to each of the host club venues for supporting the teams participating in this year's competition including Terenure, Railway Union, Civil Service, Adamstown and Kilkenny. With last year's beaten finalists (Glanbia) hoping to go one better this year, it is great to see some of the fixtures taking place in proximity to their business operations in Kilkenny as the lovely Castleblunden Estate plays host to some of the biggest corporate names in Irish business via the HBBL.
The first match of this year's competition sees the 2024 Champions, Deloitte, taking on PWC in Park Avenue next Monday evening, 17th June at 6.00pm.
The first two weeks of the competition look like this:
Monday 17th June: PWC vs Deloitte (Park Avenue)
Monday 24th June: KPMG vs Grant Thornton 2 (Civil Service)
Monday 24th June: Amazon vs PWC (Park Avenue)
Tuesday 25th June: Deloitte vs Grant Thornton 1 (Terenure)
