RUSH v NORTH KILDARE
Rush hosted North Kildare with both teams eager for points to keep their momentum going. Rush won the toss and batted first, but things didn't go to plan and they were 21/5 after 6 overs. A solid 55 from Asher Abbasi saw them recover to 175/10, aided by a late 26* from former international Allan Eastwood. Wickets were shared around for North Kildare with 2 each for Sattar, Bhansali and Singh. Akhilesh Sharma went one better with 3/19.
In reply Rush struck early with the wicket of Mehmood for Barnes, but North Kildare soon settled and with 44 from Pawar and 40* from Manjeet Singh were comfortable winners. North Kildare won by 6 wickets.
NORTH COUNTY v CORK HARLEQUINS
North County hosted the Harlequins and chose to bat first on winning the toss. Sixty Four from Jonathan Andrews and 55 from Malcolm Nofal got them to 253/9 in 20 overs. Ibrahimi and Kruger took three wickets each.
The run chase was dominated by the bowlers and Ryan Joyce was the only batsman to settle, 52 off 43 with 3 sixes. The bowlers dominated and Abdul Ghaffar with 4/20 and Malcolm Nofal with 3/26 saw Cork Harlequins dismissed for 134 in the 28th over. North County won by 119 runs
CORK COUNTY v TERENURE
This mid table clash saw Terenure travel south where Cork County won the toss and batted. Cork started brightly with 60 from opener Ross Durity. Terenure took regular wickets, but a late order blast from Byron McDonough at 8 (98 off 61 balls) brought the home team to an imposing total of 315/8. Wickets were shared around with 2 for each of Thomas, Harris and Zubair Khan.
Terenure started well but regular wickets prevented them getting the momentum they needed. Despite 52 from Donal Lynch and 46 from Raghav Grover, they were bowled out for 180 in the 41st over. Pick of the bowlers was Sukhpal Singh with 4/31 followed by Abubakar Saddique with 3/29. Cork County won by 135 runs
LEINSTER v RAILWAY UNION
Top of the table clash and the winner would open up a gap with only 1 league point between them at the start of the day. The visitors won the toss and elected to bat. David Cooke went early but Kenny Carroll (73) and Ashil Prakash (62) then put on 153 for the second wicket. Saqib Bahadur (3/33) bowled well, supported by Ben Mitchell (3/32) and regular wickets saw Railway 187/10 with 3.5 overs left unused.
Leinster started well with opener Bilal Azhar making 74 but regular wickets at the other end left them with a hill to climb. Next highest scorer was fellow opener Ben Mitchell. Bowling honours go to Liam McCarthy for 5/32 with two wickets also for each of Alan Mathew and Hamza Maan. Leinster were all out for 150 in the 41st over. Railway Union win by 37 runs
