INAUGURAL CRICKET LEINSTER HALVERSTOWN CUP

The Halverstown Cup begins this week, with the first three schools – Brannockstown NS, Scoil Bhride and Two Mile House NS. The schedule of games is below. These competitions will feed into the club's Smash-It and It's Wicket programmes in the Summer. Naomi Scott-Hayward, South Leisnter Development Manager, remarked on the club's progression from blitzes to a league-style competition, as well as the notable increase in youth membership in the club being down to the support of Kildare Sport Partnership and Cricket Leinster. It is great to have Stuart Conroy working with Cricket Leinster to drive this work in Kildare.

The winners of the two groups will progress to the Final on Wednesday May 29^th for a 10am start, were we will have local press and stakeholders in attendance.
