With just one round of fixtures left in the IBI Corporate Finance Premier League & Championship, it is now timely to update on where we stand on individual performances in respect of the various individual top-level Open Competition Cups.
And remember that all individual awards (along with League trophies & medals) will be presented at the CL Awards Night & Gala Dinner on Friday 19th January in the Round Room at the Mansion House.

Marchant Cup (Batting in Premier League)
As can be seen, Adam Rosslee (YMCA) looks to be in an unassailable position to secure the top-batting award in the Premier League (YM play Malahide in their final home match next Saturday, 9th September.
Bruton Cup (Batting in the Championship)
Not surprisingly, two Pembroke players have dominated in this category with veteran Theo Lawson currently pipping his club colleague JJ Garth at the top of the table. The gap in their average runs per innings is just 0.93 so all to play for when Pembroke travel to Civil Service for their final Championship fixture next Saturday (9th September).

O’Grady Cup (Bowling in Premier League)
There is intense competition for this individual trophy however David Delany remains in poll position to retain the trophy he secured in 2022 – he has so far taken 27 wickets at just 10.78 a piece.

Dick Clarke Cup (Bowling in the Championship)
Amish Sidhu has had an excellent couple of weeks with the ball which is now reflected in his standing as the leading bowler in the Championship with just one fixture remaining – he has 24 wickets at just 10.04 per wicket which is 2.74 per wicket ahead of Eddie Richardson. Sidhu will finish the league programme at home in the Park to North Kildare next Saturday (9th September).

Hopkins Cup (Wicket-Keeping in Premier League)
This trophy is definitely still up for grabs with one round of fixtures still to play – leading the pack is Fintan McAllister (Malahide) with 20 dismissals, followed by Adam Rosslee (YMCA) who has closed the gap to just one with one game remaining – ironically it’ll be a head-to-head contest at Claremont Road next Saturday (9th) as YM host Malahide.

Satchwell Cup (Wicket-Keeping in the Championship)
Neil Rock retains pole position for this individual award although he is just 1 dismissal ahead of Luke Whelan (North County) – Whelan has the chance to overtake Rock when North County travel to the Mardyke next Saturday (9th September).
Samuels Cup (Premier League All-Rounder)
Having won this trophy last season, David Delany looks certain to retain the accolade of top all-rounder in Leinster with just one match to complete. With 355 runs and 27 wickets, he has widened the gap over Adam Rosslee in second place to 245 points. Delany will finish the season in Jack Harper Park as Balbriggan host Clontarf.
Championship All-Rounder
North County stalwart Eddie Richardson will shortly be confirmed as the top all-rounder in the Championship for 2023 as he now has an unassailable lead of 190 points over Nathan McGuire (Rush CC). Richardson has accumulated 27 wickets and scored over 300 runs – another strong performance from the man from Inch.

Solomons Cup (Premier League Fielding)
This trophy looks destined to be awarded to the Balbriggan captain Greg Ford who is 4 dismissals ahead of YM’s captain Tim Tector, each with one game remaining.
Vincent Cup (Championship Fielding)
The destiny of this trophy also looks certain with Terenure captain Donal Lynch going into the final round 4 catches ahead of his nearest rival for the award.
