Cricket Ireland today announced a squad of 12 for three games against The MCC next week. The three one-day games will be played from July 6-8 at the Three Bridges ground in Crawley, West Sussex. There are four new faces in the squad, with Railway Union opening batsman Tom Fisher, and CIYMS all-rounder Ben McCord given their first opportunity in Irish colours.
There are also two teenage spinners in the line-up, with Coleraine's Scott Campbell and North County's Adam Coughlan hoping they can emulate the success of George Dockrell.
There are five players from Leinster on the squad which is captained by Pembroke's Andrew Balbirnie.
