Cricket Leinster is delighted to advise that Isobel Joyce has been appointed to the position of Women's & Girls Development Officer, reporting to Philip Smith, General Manager.
We would like to acknowledge the funding support provided by Cricket Ireland which has enabled us to make this appointment.
Isobel will bring a wealth of experience, expertise, passion and dedication to this role based on her brilliant sporting career to-date both on and off the field of play. Her appointment is a strong message about our strategic commitment to develop and transform female cricket in Leinster both in terms of performance and participation.
This is a hugely important strategic appointment as we look to significantly grow and develop female cricket across the province over the next three years - amongst other objectives, we are targeting a 50% increase in the number of participating clubs and a 30% increase in the number of teams involved.
