The Leinster Lightning selectors have the pleasure in announcing the following squad for the Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Championship game against the North-West Warriors in Clontarf Cricket Club, Dublin from the 12th – 14th of May 2015.
John Mooney (Capt-Balbriggan); John Anderson (Vice- Capt-Merrion); Joe Carroll (Leinster); Bill Coghlan (Clontarf); Eoghan Delany (Clontarf); Tyrone Kane (Merrion); Fintan McAllister (Malahide); Andrew Poynter (Clontarf); Eddie Richardson (North County); Simmi Singh(YMCA); Max Sorensen (The Hills); Yaqoob Ali Shah (YMCA).
The Lightning are looking forward to commencing the defence of their championship title as we go in search for a hat-trick of trophies this year. The squad contains number of debutants with Eoghan Delany, Joe Carroll and Yaqoob Ali all primed to make their first championship starts. The Lightning were unable to call upon Kenny Carroll (work commitments), Cormac Mcloughlin and Bobby Gamble (College), both Tucker brothers (school) and Kevin O’Brien, who is with the Leicestershire Foxes and we wish him well in their T20 blast games.
The first ball will be bowled in Castle Avenue at 11am on Tuesday May the 12th and there is no admission fee.
The selectors have also picked the following squad for the Friday the Hanley Energy T20 trophy game on Friday the 15th of May against the Northern Knights.

After his world Cup exploits, the squad sees the return to a Lightning shirt for Alex Cusack for the first time since 2013. He replaces Kevin O’Brien in the only change to the T20 side that had a narrow 5 run win in this season opening T20 against the Knights two weeks ago.
