After a slight delay, we can proudly announce the first entries in June's search for the Cricket Leinster Photo of 2013.
Plenty of great new entries for June, and we're all going to announce the winner for May. So here goes.
So far so good. The weather over the last few weeks has been as ordered, with last weekend's sunshine definitely classed as "warm". The first photo has been sent in by Rodney Smythe, and shows umpire Azam Ali Baig taking a well deserved break during last weekend's Division 1 Merrion vs YMCA clash.
Gareth Delany was taking a break from playing last week, and took a series of shots of the Leinster 3 vs Phoenix 3 Middle Cup match - a great game that Pheonix eventually won by 1 wkts, after Finn Connity initially ripped though the Phoenix top order.
The photo shows ex Leinster player, Bard Ovenden piling on the runs for his new club Phoenix.
The third entry for this month is Chantelle Maritz's shot of The Hills in all its glory. Of course it doesn't look like that without a lot of hard work, and probbaly quite apt that Matt Dwyer and his helpers (which includes just about everyone in the club) are hard at work
And finally the winner of the May, Photo of the Month. It couldn't be ignored. Michael Gavin has sent us some stunning photos over the last few weeks, and he makes it three in a row, with the pitcure of Kevin O'Brien hitting the winning runs in the Lightning's victory in Milverton against The Northern Knights
Keep sending in those photos to photos@cricketleinster.ie
