The Sherwin O'Riordan sponsored Leinster Lightning Bolts will participate in the IP Future Series T20 competition in Belfast next week under the stewardship of Head Coach (Andre Botha).
The fixtures (which are all being played on an 'away' basis this year) are as follows
Tuesday 2nd July: Leinster Bolts vs Emerging Warriors (3.30pm, Belmont)
Wednesday 3rd July: Leinster Bolts vs Emerging Knights (3.30pm, Stormont)
Thursday 4th July: Leinster Bolts vs CI Academy (10.45am, Carrickfergus)
Thursday 4th July: Leinster Bolts vs Munster Heat (3.30pm, Belmont)
There will be a T20 Final on Friday 5th for the top 2 teams which emerge from the round-robin games earlier in the week.
The 14-man squad includes players for seven different clubs including Suliman Safi (North County), Nazir Totakhil (Rush) and Sam Willemse (Balbriggan), all of whom have performed well for Fingal in the recent CL Under 23 District competition and also for their respective clubs. Byron McDonough (who joined Pembroke this season) is also included having taken 19 wickets for his club already this season including 6-21 versus Clontarf in the IBI Corporate Finance Premier League.
