Cricket Leinster Youth is delighted to announce it is seeking interest to expand its overseas placement portfolio to include a 9-day girl’s camp in Cape Town, South Africa in April 2019.
The camp will be led by former South African player Shandre Fritz and assisted by current international Andrie Steyn and be based at high-quality facilities of Muizenburg High School & University of Western Cape, with accommodation on the coastal suburb of Noordhoek.
The programme will also see several coaching visits to local Cape Town girls’ schools – Muizenberg High School, Belville Technical High School & De Villiers Graaff High School, while culturally, it will take in short trips to iconic places like Robben Island, Table Mountain, Noordhoek Beach, Chapman’s Peak and Newlands cricket stadium.
The placement has been identified by Cricket Leinster Youth for girls in 4th and 5th year of secondary school.
Provisional dates are Wednesday, April 10th to Saturday, April 20th 2019.
