After three rounds of matches in Group A of the IBI Corporate Finance Leinster Senior League Cup, the table is beginning to take shape.
The Hills and Malahide sit atop the table with three wins from three while Phoenix have a 100% record too, with two wins from two.
At least one of these records will go this weekend however, as Phoenix host The Hills in the Park. Phoenix will be without their international stars Simi Singh and James Shannon; will this prove the difference on Saturday?
Last weekend, Singh’s 124 against former club YMCA was key to victory but there is enough strength in the Phoenix squad to provide a stern test to a Hills side who won’t be able to rely on Luke Clinton taking 7 for 13, as he did against North County, every week.
At the other end of the table, YMCA, North County and Railway Union have yet to register a victory between them. Again, one of these records will go on Saturday as North County host Railway at Inch.
YMCA are perhaps the club in most need of a victory. Having lost to The Hills, Phoenix and Malahide, they sit in fifth place behind Dublin University who have beaten Railway Union and lost two games themselves.
If YMCA are to put themselves in a position to be in the Premier League after the split, they need to win games against the clubs around them in the table and start on Saturday.

In Group B Merrion and Pembroke sit at the top of the table. Merrion have had three comfortable victories over Terenure, Clontarf and Rush, while Pembroke have accounted for Leinster and Terenure with their third match against Balbriggan being abandoned.
Balbriggan, for their part, sit third after their opening day victory over Clontarf and face a big trip to Merrion this weekend.
Leinster, who are fourth, face Clontarf in fifth on Saturday in a crucial clash that could decide who plays in the Premier League after the split.
The third match in Group B on Saturday sees the bottom two, Terenure and Rush, face off hoping for a first victory after two defeats each.
