Leinster Under 15s sealed another 50 Overs Interprovincial title on the final day of the tournament yesterday with a 44 run win over the hosts, NCU at Holywood CC in Belfast.
Leinster U15's were in trouble at 53 for 5 but runs from the top-scorer Andrew Tonge who made 36, and then both Mark Canniffe & Eoin Birch made 21 each as Leinster posted 160.
A young name to watch for the future continued to shine as Daniel Forkin from Merrion took four wickets including the tournament clinching final wicket, whilst there were also wickets for both Tonge's, Wilhelm de Klerk and Eoin Birch.
Earlier in the week, Leinster had scored wins over North West by 44 runs to go alongside a big win over Munster to make it a perfect 3 from 3 and give another title to Leinster, the 12th in history for Leinster Youth Coaching legend, Brían O'Rourke.
