Leinster U17 vs Irish U15 Girls Match Reports

Better late than never, here are the scores from two warm up matches for our Leinster U17 Girls before they headed off to Broomsgrove in England. This is the second year of us sending the U17s to the MBD Festival which usually takes place in Malvern College. It is also the second year we have had these warm up matches for them pre-tour.

We were delighted to see so many Leinster girls on our opposition team as well! With girls cricket booming in Leinster and continuing to grow in the north as well, the Irish U15 Girls were a very well matches side to play against for our U17s in the T20 with the Irish girls wining by just 4 runs. In their second match, the 50 over, the Leinster U17s came back with more fight in them and won by 10 wickets.
