Winter Training Squad 2016
The Leinster Lightning selectors have the pleasure in announcing the following winter training squad for the 2016 season.
John Mooney (Balbriggan); John Anderson, Tyrone Kane & Dom Joyce (all Merrion); Yaqoob Ali, Simranjit Singh & Jack Tector (all YMCA); Bill Coghlan, Adrian Darcy, Eoghan Delany & Andrew Poynter (all Clontarf); Peter Chase & Fintan McAllister (both Malahide); Kenny Carroll & Kevin O’Brien (both Railway Union); Josh Little & Lorcan Tucker (both Pembroke); Rory Anders (Phoenix); Joe Carroll (Leinster); Eddie Richardson (North County).
This squad of players will have a number of indoor training session pre and post-Christmas as the Lightning build up to the 2016 season and our attempt to retain the clean sweep of trophies won in the 2015 season.
George Dockrell and Barry McCarthy are currently playing in Australia, and thus both have been omitted from the squad for this reason.
