The Lightning play their first ever game at the Mardyke tomorrow evening, taking on the Munster Reds starting at 5pm. The game represents a final opportunity to secure the T20 title, having failed to pick up the one point required last time out against the North-West Warriors in Merrion Cricket Club.

Both Andrew Balbirnie and Kevin O’Brien have been held back by Cricket Ireland as a precaution in advance of the upcoming I-Cup match against the Netherlands. That means a recall for Merrion’s Tom Stanton and a first call-up this year for Stephen Doheny.
