The Leinster Lightning regained the Test Triangle InterProvincial T20 Trophy with 5-wicket victory over the Northern Knights last week and will take an unchanged squad to play the North West Warriors in the final T20 of the season at Bready on Tuesday.
Barry McCarthy continues to follow his phased training programme as he returns from injury, while Pembroke teammate Josh Little remains on the side-lines with a hand injury picked up on club duty.
“We’re excited for another game of cricket and the opportunity is there for us to put in a performance,” said Lightning Head Coach Nigel Jones.
“It’s one thing having the trophy in the cabinet, it’s another finishing the competition the way we want to,” Jones continued.
“So once again, we are looking to build on last Thursday’s victory and take the learnings we had from our game against the Warriors recently, to make sure we finish the T20 competition strongly.
“That’s certainly the message to the boys and the focus as we head up to Bready for tomorrow’s game.”
The Leinster Lightning conclude their interprovincial campaign with a T20 fixture against the North West Warriors at 1.30pm on Tuesday September 8th at Bready Cricket Club. The squad for that match is below.
