This mid-term break, Cricket Leinster's staff participated in a camp in Clondalkin. It was a three-day event held in Collinstown and was open to young people with disabilities. Cricket Leinster were there as well as Leinster Rugby and the FAI.
20 children attended each day aged between 4-15.
I was a great few days with the children and both 'Cricket Factory' and 'Table Cricket' being really well received. The Leinster union's staff has also grown since the table cricket course a few weeks ago- Laura Erskine, Peter Searson, Naomi Scott-Hayward, Diarmuid Lynch, Brian O’Rourke and Amy Kenealy were all present to help throughout the camp and all really benefited from their recent training.
If you are involved with a group, or know someone who is, and would like to see Table Cricket or Cricket Factory being delivered there please get in touch with amy.kenealy@gmail.com
